The SAG-fleet – operated by leading international shipping companies
The charterer of a ship is guarantor for meeting the contractual obligations, just
like the tenant is in case of property. The ships of Salamon AG are chartered out
to shipping companies of financial standing and a proven track record of reliability.

Overseas Shipholding Group, (founded in 1948) has a fleet of 90 vessels
with almost 12 m deadweight tons capacity and is the largest American shipping
company. In 2003 OSG has for the first time sold a vessel, "MT Meridian Lion", to a
German KG and rechartered it. And it has done this with Salamon AG.

The Swiss company Glencore AG is one of the biggest commodity traders worldwide
having a turnover of above 70 bn Dollar. The company deals in iron ore, copper,
manganese, aluminium, grain, crude oil and oil products. The company holds a
stake in steelworks, ore- and coal mines in Australia, South Africa and
South America. Until January 2012 Glencore is charterer of the Panamax tanker "Fedor".

OMI Corporation was one of the leading American tanker shipping companies and
predominantly active in crude oil and product shipment.The fleet comprised
48 vessels. OMI had chartered the Suezmaxtanker "Oliver Jacob". During the course of the 8-year
time-charter OMIs suezmaxtanker operation was take over in 2007 by canadian tanker specialist Teekay.

The origins of the shipping company Augustea Imprese Marittime e di Salvataggi SpA.
can be traced back to the year 1629. Augustea controls a fleet of around 60 vessels.
The company is charterer of the Aframax tanker "Iblea" and the bulk carrier
"Brunhilde Salamon".

Sanko is an old-established shipping company, its roots going back to the year 1934.
Sanko is one of the leading shipping companies in Japan with a current fleet of 190
operating and 72 ordered vessels. The company's main focus is liquid and dry bulk shipping.

Through Hellespont Holdings Greek shipowner Basil Papachristidis controls his
shipping activities. The Papachristidis family is active in shipping since 1946.
Hellespont Holdings is charterer of the Aframax tanker "Hellespont Tatina" until April 2012.

Having a fleet of 5 m tons deadweight capacity of 5.7 m tons Dynacom
belongs to the largest ship management companies in Greece. The Dynacom-fleet operates
the whole range of tankers right up to VLCC and LNG-Carrier. Dynacom has chartered
both Suezmax tankers "Voyager" and "Astra" until the end of 2010.

Schoeller Holdings Ltd. is a holding company whose subsidiaries play a leading role in
many maritime markets. The company is active in container shipping. It runs its own
liner service. It also operates a chemicals and a product carrier pool. It owns a
fleet of more than 50 vessels. The most important subsidiary of the group is
Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd., being one of the “Big Five“ in its field exceeding
300 vessels in full- and part management worldwide. Schoeller is charterer of "Cape Taft",
"Cape Texel" and "Cape Tampa".

The French shipping company CMA CGM has chartered the "SAG Westfalen" since June 2006
and operates this vessel under the charter name "CMA CGM Esmeraldas". CMA CGM belongs to
the top three of the world's largest container shipping companies. The company employs
10 000 staff and manages a fleet of 282 vessels.

The origins of the Deutsche Afrika-Linien (DAL) go back as far as 1890. The company is
part of the DAL/JTE (John T. Essberger)-Group in Hamburg. Within this conglomerate the
company is reponsible for the dry bulk and container shipping. DAL had chartered two
Handysize bulk carriers "SAG Bulk Australia" and "SAG Bulk Canada" both purchased in 2007
as well as the container vessel "Cape Mondego".

MCC Transport is an Intra-Asia service operating through an extensive network of partners.
It has more than 40 vessels between 600 and 4 000 TEU carrying capacity. MCC Transport is a
fully owned subsidiary of AP Moller-Maersk Group in Denmark, the biggest liner service
companies worlwide comprising a fleet of more than 500 vessels.

The fleet of Hapag-Lloyd totals around 115 container vessels between 1 800 and 8 700 TEU.
A total carrying capacity of 520 000 TEU, 6 700 staff at 320 locations in 130 countries
make Hapag-Lloyd one of the leading liner service companies worlwide. Hapag-Lloyd has
currently chartered the MS "Cape Mondego".

UPT Pool
UPT – United Product Tankers – is a Hamburg based shipping company, which provides commercial management,
marketing, chartering & commercial operations services to the tanker shipping industry.
The activities include the commercial management of the UPT Handy-, the UPT Panamax- and the
UPT Coastal Pool, which comprises a fleet of double hull product tankers in the size ranges 12 - 75,000 dwt.
Three of our LR 1 Tankers (Cape Taft, Cape Texel, Cape Tampa) are employed in the UPT-Pool.

Lasco Logger Pool
The Copenhagen based Clipper controlled Lasco Logger Pool consists of 9 log fitted Handysize Bulkers
of around 28,000 dwt. Together with German shipowner John T. Essberger Salamon is poolpartner with
two ships (SAG Bulk Australia, SAG Bulk Canada).

Gemini Pool
Stamfort based Gemini Tankers consits of 43 Tankers and is regarded the largest Suezmax Pool.
The main Poolmembers are Teekay and Frontline. Salamon is Poolmember with one Suezmaxtanker (Oliver Jacob).
