Investment funds are a matter of trust. It all depends on the partners involved. Two competent personalities are behind the success of SAG-funds. Both put their whole experience and know-how at the service of every single shareholder: Christian Salamon and Ulrich Thamm.

Christian Salamon is founder of and namegiver to Salamon AG. After working for industrial companies in Germany and the USA as well as for a Swiss management consultancy he joined an issuing house of property and ship investments in Dortmund in 1993. There he was responsible for the public issue of investment funds and since 1998 he played a leading role in the purchase of ships and the conception of ship investments - finally as managing partner. Christian Salamon (born in 1957) has so far been involved in the conception or issuing of over 70 property and ship investments with a combined investment volume exceeding 2.5 bn Euro. Christian Salamon is CEO. He studied economics at the University of Essen taking the MBA degree. He is married and has three sons.

After more than 8 years in banking with focus on corporate consulting, asset management and interest volatility risk management Ulrich Thamm changed in 1999 to a Dortmund based issuing house to develop fund concepts. There he was responsible for the development of US-property investment funds and had leading input in the project development regarding large oil tankers, gas tankers as well as a successful series of bulk carriers. So far Ulrich Thamm has been involved in the conception of more than 40 funds with a combined investment volume exceeding 2 bn Euro. Ulrich Thamm (born 1965) is member of the board of directors since 2002 and in this function responsible for finances, administration and project development. Since 2004 he is partner. He studied economics at the University of Dortmund taking the MBA degree. He is married and has one daughter.
